Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Matrimony Exchange ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Matrimony Exchange.
Eligibility

To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally eligible to marry under applicable laws
- Not be currently married (unless legally separated)
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
- Use the Platform for lawful purposes only

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.
User conduct

You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use the Platform for commercial purposes without authorization
- Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise system security

- Engage in any fraudulent or illegal activities
Profile content
In plain wordsYour profile stays yours; we may show it to run the service.
You retain ownership of content you submit but grant Matrimony Exchange a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for Platform operations. You warrant that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.
Subscription and payments
In plain wordsPaid plans renew automatically until you cancel.
Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are subject to our refund policy. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.
Privacy and data protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.
Verification services

While we strive to verify profiles, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all user-provided information. Users are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before meeting in person or sharing sensitive information with other users.
Intellectual property

All Platform content, features, and functionality are owned by Matrimony Exchange and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
Limitation of liability

Matrimony Exchange is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
Termination
In plain wordsEither of us can end the account; you can do it from Settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through your settings.
Dispute resolution
In plain wordsDisputes go to arbitration in Hyderabad, in English.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and held in Hyderabad, India. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana for any legal proceedings arising from these terms.
Changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
